Is Yoga for me?

We should always listen to our bodies and modify the practice to our abilities. Whether you practice yoga with me, or in the comfort of your home, or with any other teacher, your body should not feel pain; a slight discomfort is normal at the beginning of the practice of yoga because yoga is designed to stretch parts of your body which you haven’t used for a long time. If you get into a pose and experience pain, breathe out of the pose and tell your teacher about it so that he or she can modify it for you. A good yoga teacher should always be able to modify a practice for the benefit of the individual student.
